Currently Playing: The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening 1992 (SNES)
I now own every Zelda game on at least one type of
gaming platform. I am going to try and review each game, then post what I think
on this page. What I write here is only MY interpretation of the game. Do not
flood me with emails saying, "OMG That’s not right, that game rocked"
or "That game sucked, change your review." I am only going to write
what I think so don't complain.
Note: The games will take quite a long time to review. LOZ games have always
proved challenging and long even to the most experienced Zelda gamer. (Doesn't
mean I wont enjoy testing them
). I will have to replay all the games to
give my honest review.
The Legend of Zelda
1987 (NES)
Reviewed

Information
The first EVER Zelda game. On the 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)
appeared for the first time. In 1995, the Japanese market was able to sell the
remake on the Super Nintendo (SNES), which had extra missions.
Review
The game itself was extremely hard to
control. This may be because gamers back then were used to strange controls.
The size of the game is sufficient though. You do not get many clues on where
to go next though so you find yourself running around in circles looking for
the correct dungeon. I, myself, found that the first dungeon I went in was the
5th Dungeon.

Its understandable how the
Zelda series started of. If this review were written 20 years ago, this would
have gotten full marks. However, the game is only standard compared to today’s
expectations. (It still beats most modern games though.)
The Legend of Zelda: The Adventure of Link 1989 (NES)
Reviewed

Information
In the second adventure, Link finds himself trying to save Zelda from a
permanent, magical sleep. The game used the classic level up system and a side
view used mostly through out the game.
Review
Not really the best game in the series but it stays loyal to its predecessors in terms of graphics. however the gameplay in transformed completely by the side scrolling action and small element of rpg. Again, if this game had been revied years ago, it would get full marks but now, it seems very tame. Hardcore Zelda fans would like it, casual Zelda fans beware.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
1992 (SNES)
Reviewed

Information
One of the most successful Zelda games, A Link to the Past offered everything. Game
play, items, length. Can be bought for either GBA or SNES.
Very good game. The contols are easy to use the game plot was simple yet grasping (same old zelda storyline by the way.) Very large map to explore (in both the light and dark world.) Graphics for the time are decent. You get clues on what to do and where to go but not enough to make it to easy. All in all a very good game.

The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening 1994/1999
(GB/GBC)
To Be Reviewed
Information
For Links first Gameboy adventure, there had to be a struggle through exotic
jungles and complicated caves. It was released again in 1999 for the Gameboy
Colour in a slightly expanded version called The Legend of Zelda: Links
Awakening Deluxe. Lovely little game that’s good when you’re on the bus but you
might miss your stop if your not careful. The Deluxe version can be played on
both the GB and GBC, and for deluxe owners, there is a little secret about the
graveyard that you might want to look up in the village library.
The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time 1998 (N64)
To Be Reviewed
Information
The reason The Ocarina of Time was a big hit was that the graphics were
unbeatable and the amount of things to do. The most important item in the game
was the Ocarina of Time, which was able to activate certain events for Link and
also warp him to different locations.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 2000 (N64)
To Be Reviewed

Information
Aided by the powers of magical masks, Link must go out and save the land of
Termina. What makes this Zelda game unique is that you are able to turn back
time whenever you want. It was really short though, especially compared to its
predecessor Ocarina of Time. Except for this, the game stays faithful to the
Zelda series and is a good buy but you MUST have an expansion pack to play it.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Oracle of
Seasons 2001 (GBC)
To Be Reviewed

Information
After completing one of the games, you got a password for the other to continue
your adventure. Then you were able to unlock special events and riddles. Note
that unlike Zelda DX, this is only for GBC but this improves the graphics
greatly. A lot to do and good gameplay.
The
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past/Four Swords 2003 (GBA)
To Be Reviewed
Information
Link to the Past is of course a remake but what about the Four Swords. In The
Four Sword, 2-4 players can link up to play this special game. They must team
up and find the master sword; teamwork is the key to completing this game. Four
Swords also uses the same cartoon pictures as Wind Waker.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker 2003 (GC)

Information
New Link, new adventure. Really short though, you only have five temples, six
including Hyrule castle, but amount of things to do when you have finished the
game makes up for that.
The Legend of Zelda: Master Quest 2003 (GC)
To Be Reviewed
Information
Not only do you get the classic Ocarina of Time game, you also get Master
Quest. Same story line to Ocarina of Time but the dungeons are different. The
graphics have not really improved that much though. You can only get this Zelda
game if you get Wind Waker.
